WPvivid Backup Pro provides flexible directory management for pCloud, allowing you to organize backups into a clear hierarchical structure. You can define a Custom Parent Folder in your pCloud root directory and a Unique Subfolder for each specific website.
By defining a custom folder name, you can control where WPvivid uploads backup archives in pCloud.
Configuration Steps
1. Access pCloud Settings
- 1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
- 2. Navigate to WPvivid Plugin > Cloud Storage.
- 3. Select pCloud from the list of available storage providers.
2. Authenticate with pCloud
- 1. Click the Authenticate with pCloud button.
- 2. You will be redirected to the pCloud authorization page to complete authentication.
3. Enter Storage Details
To connect your pCloud account and set up your directory structure, fill out the following fields:
- 1. Unique Alias:
Enter a recognizable name for this storage connection (e.g., pCloud-Personal-Account). - 2. Custom Parent Directory:
Enter the name of the main folder to be created in your pCloud root directory (e.g., wpvivid_backups). - 3. Custom Subfolder:
Enter a unique name for the current website’s directory (e.g., yourdomain_com). - 4. Backup Retention:
Define the number of backup copies to keep on pCloud before the oldest ones are automatically rotated. - 5. Block Size:
Set the block size for uploads and downloads (default is usually recommended unless you have specific network requirements). - 6. Set as Default Storage:
Check this box if you want this pCloud account to be the primary destination for all future backups. - 7. Click Add Now to save settings.
